Notifications (Webhooks)
Invoice archived and ready to be sent to the customer? Customer payment assigned? The Nitrobox Platform provides a smart notification service that informs your connected systems when certain operations have taken place. Let's take a closer look at this feature.
From order to payment, you have various notifications available on the Nitrobox Platform. Add, edit and check notifications according to your requirements. View the complete notification list here.
Enable notifications
To enable and manage your notifications, navigate to: Configuration > Global > Notifications > Notification Overview
Start with the security configuration. Therefore, click the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the overview page, which opens an overlay.
As the supported security scheme is OAuth2, select the type "OAuth". Fill in the scope, token URL, client ID, and client secret that Nitrobox will use to authenticate against your system. Click the "Save" button to save your security configuration details and "Discard" if you want to cancel the operation.
Add and edit notifications
Now configure the notifications you want to send from the Nitrobox platform to your systems and the endpoints you want to send them to.
To do so, go to the second section of the page and click the "Add" button on the left. Select the notification event you want to add from the drop-down menu and enter the corresponding URL. Click "Save" and the new notification entry will be displayed in the events table below. Click "Discard" to cancel the operation.
To manage a notification, click the "Edit" button at the end of the respective entry and edit the event according to your requirements. If you want to delete a certain notification, click the "Delete" button.
View and search for notification events
In the third section is an event table that lists all your notifications. There, you can see in detail which notifications were sent to your systems and whether they were successful or not.
Use the filter function at the top left to search for specific events, or click the "Details" button at the end of the entry you want to see in detail.
