Introduction

This documentation describes the integration of Talon.One, a specialized provider for voucher handling within the Nitrobox platform. This integration allows your customers to create vouchers directly in Talon.One and to seamlessly apply them during the Nitrobox billing process, especially useful for subscription.

Requirements

• A contract with Talon.One to access their services.
• A valid API key from Talon.One.

Setting up the Talon.One integration

Step 1: Contract agreement with Talon.One

Before setting up the integration, enter into a contract with Talon.One. This will enable you to take full advantage of their voucher system.

Step 2: Obtain and Enter the API Key

Once the contract is finalized, you will receive an API key from Talon.One. This key needs to be entered into the Nitrobox platform as follows:

1. Navigate to: Integrations → Voucher Providers → Talon One
2. Enter and save the provided API Key.
3. Enter the base URL, which is provided by Talon.One
4. Activate the feature

Step 3: Synchronize Customer Numbers

Ensure that each customer integration id used in Talon.One matches the debtor ident in Nitrobox. This enables vouchers to be correctly applied to relevant invoices.

Using Talon.One Vouchers

Creating a voucher

If you now want to give a customer a voucher, you can create a voucher directly in Talon.One. Be sure to:

• Select the applicable Customer Integration ID, which should match the debtor ident in Nitrobox.
• Define the voucher details covering specific discounts or offers in Talon.One

Redeeming a Voucher During Billrun

During the billing process:

1. Nitrobox checks for existing vouchers in Talon.One using the debtor ident.
2. Found vouchers are automatically included in the customer's invoice.
