IT Security
Nitrobox uses an identity and access management (IAM) system to carry out authentication and authorization processes. All requests to the Nitrobox REST API and the Nitrobox Webportal are always SSL/TLS encrypted. Applications are required to authenticate through the OAuth 2.0 protocol.
Nitrobox offers personalizable user accounts. Depending on their role, users can be given individual access rights. As Nitrobox is a multi-tenant system, each user account belongs to one tenant only. When you log into a tenant, you can only access the data of that respective tenant.
Nitrobox features a 2-factor authentication for enhanced security. The activation is optional and has to be defined per tenant.
