Manage Merchant Payment Accounts
If you want to activate or deactivate a merchant payment account in Nitrobox Webportal or add more currencies to it, this page will show you how it's done.
To edit a merchant payment account, navigate to: Configuration > Payment > Merchant Payment Account > Merchant Payment Account Overview
Now, select the account you want to modify by clicking the "Edit" button at the end of the the respective entry and the editing window opens.
However, you can also get there from the merchant account details page. To do this, click on the "Details" button at the end of the respective account entry. Then (on the details page) click the " Edit" button in the upper right corner to open the same editing window as mentioned before.
Activate or deactivate a merchant payment account
Follow the steps described above to access the editing window of the respective account.
Below the account data fields is the activation switch. Slide the switch to the right to activate the merchant payment account and to the left to deactivate it. Then click the "Save" button to save the modifications or click "Discard" to cancel the action.
Add / delete currencies to / from a merchant payment account
If you want to add one or more currencies to a merchant payment account, follow the initial steps described above to access the editing window of the respective account.
Now, click the "Add more accepted currencies" button. A new drop-down menu entry appears for you to select the currency from. Repeat this step if you want to add further currencies. Then click "Save". To cancel the action click "Discard".
If you want delete a currency, click the "Delete" icon next to the currency entry. Then click "Save". To cancel the action click "Discard".
You cannot edit the data fields of the merchant payment account.
If you want to change essential data, you have to create a new merchant payment account and deactivate the old one.
Delete a merchant payment account
To delete a merchant payment account, go to the "Configuration" section in the main navigation on the left. Click on the "Payment" menu item and select "Merchant Payment Account" to open the merchant payment account overview.
Now, select the account you want to delete and click the "Delete" button at the end of the entry.
Accounts that are integrated into gateways cannot be deleted
If a merchant payment account has already been integrated into a merchant payment gateway, the account cannot be deleted, only deactivated.
To delete a payment account: remove it from the gateway, then delete it.
