To manage open positions via the document overview, navigate to: Billing > Documents and select the document type you want to enter (e.g. invoices, credit notes etc.). Now, you are on the respective document overview page.
Filter the entry you want to manage. Then click the "Details" button at the end of the line to get to the details page. Scroll down a bit to get to the "Open items" section. Select the item you want to manage and click the "Clear open item" button to start the process.
Now fill in the OPOS data fields shown in the overlay:
Ident: The data field is prefilled but can be adapted.
Type: Select the clearance reason from the drop-down menu (uncollectable receivable, doubtful receivable, or discount).
Amount: Enter the amount you want to clear.
Click the "Save" button to save the OPOS decision or "Discard" to cancel the action.
