Plans
Plans are a key element of the Nitrobox system. They are your tool to turn your business models into billable contracts. Learn more about what a plan is and what data components plans consist of.
What is a plan?
In the Nitrobox system a plan is the general structure on which a contract is based. It can be understood like a template that consists of two parts:
- The terms and billing conditions (frame parameters): Name, business segment, phases, duration, billing interval etc.
- The options (what products will be billed): one-time, recurring or usage-based options
After you set the framework parameters and add the options, the plan is ready for you to use. Now you can create customer contracts from it and bill your customers accordingly.
Create plans and (multi-) plan phases
A step-by-step guide on how to create a plan is available for you. Additionally, you can learn there how to duplicate plans to save precious time and how to delete plans.
With Nitrobox it is very easy to create exactly the contract lifecycle you need for your customers. Use the multi-phase plan feature to offer e.g. free periods, reduced or full price periods. With just a few clicks you can create the phases and specify the transitions between phases - from none, to auto renewal, next phase and interation + transition. Learn more about how to create (multi-) plan phases here.
